TOUCHSCREEN EXPERTISE
N-Line monitors can be equipped with a touch function. At Nottrot we can provide you with Resistive as well as PCAP touchscreens. We also have the in house expertise to laminate a PCAP touch screen behind glass. To guarantee the functionality of every touchscreen for each specific circumstance, we develop the firmware ourselves.
Our PCAP touchscreens are easily configurable with our NCom app and/or a PLC (RS485).

PCAP Touch
PCAP touch screens are made from glass which increases the robustness. Because the PCAP touch screen is laminated behind the glass, scratches on the front of the glass will have no bearing on the functionality of the touch screen. Our N-Line Panel Mount monitors are equipped with thermally toughend glass. PCAP touch screens come fully calibrated and no drivers are required. From Windows XP onwards, PCAP touchscreens are plug & play. Just connect a USB cable. One of the advantages over a Resistive touch screen, is that a PCAP touch screen lets through more light. Please be aware that PCAP touch screens will not be responsive when wearing gloves.

Resistive Touch
Resistive touch is the basic variant. It has a foil in front that let's through 75% to 80% of the light. Resitive touch is a little less robust but is responsive when wearing gloves. Resitive touch screens need to be calibrated upon installing. The necesary drives can be download from our download library.
