Looking back at Europort 2025 – More than just monitors on display

From 4 to 7 November 2025, professionals from across the international maritime industry came together at Europort in Rotterdam Ahoy. We were there to showcase our NOTTROT monitor solutions, but just as importantly, to meet with existing customers, system integrators and new contacts. Europort 2025 welcomed more than 23,000 visitors from 87 countries and over 1,100 exhibitors, once again making it a key meeting point for the international maritime industry.
The application took centre stage
What stood out to us during the show was that the conversations went far beyond monitor specifications and features.
Many visitors wanted to understand how we actually work.
How are the monitors configured? What options are available? What are the differences between the various models? And how do you determine which configuration best suits a particular application?
Those are exactly the conversations we like to have.
At FORTEC Benelux, we do not work with one fixed, predefined monitor configuration. Within the NOTTROT portfolio, different features and technologies can be combined according to what the application actually requires.

From technology to real-world applications
Europort also gave us another valuable opportunity to speak directly with the people who specify, integrate and ultimately use our monitors.
These conversations give us first-hand insight into what is happening across bridge systems, automation, CCTV, navigation and other maritime applications and where existing solutions can be improved to better meet real-world requirements.
We take that input with us into both our product development and the way we advise our customers.
